Homeland Security Solutions

(site in development; to be launched by September 30th, 2022)

Aerofoundry is an Unmanned System Design House founded in 2008. Our team has more than 30 years of experience in complex aerial operations and aeronautics in more than 30 countries. Today Aerofoundry has subsidiaries in 4 continents and customers all over the World.

Aerofoundry specializes in Modular, Rugged Unmanned Aerial Systems for Harsh Operational Environments with Minimal Support Requirements. Our aircraft are proven in the Amazon and Central African Rainforests, Andean mountains, and North African and Middle East Desert conditions. Since 2008 we designed 14 models in 23 variants.

Our Homeland Security solutions 2022 model line, manufactured following NATO specifications, includes three models with multiple variants, from a rapid-deplyment hand-launched unit, to a tactical multi-sensor, deep penetration aircraft.

Aerofoudry's UAS can be offered with systems integrations without export restrictions.

New 2022 Aircraft

Watupá-e (Buzzard)

Watupá SUAS
Short Range

Man-portable, hand-launched, electric-powered ISR-LR UAS for rapid deployment in mobile operations.

Watupá-e (produced since 2014) is now redesigned for a <5 hours endurance and an increase payload capacity of <2kg. It can be configured with a day/night video gimbal, with laser ranging and tracking of moving targets, and a 30km datalink ( 60km with a tracking antenna).

Aircraft Programs for 2023

Aerofoundry is working hard expanding its product line addressing the multiple operational scenarios of the future.

We are in advance stages of development of three new products: Hewë (bat) a micro unit for backpack mobility; a light and very long endurance version of Köpari, named Watotöme (Owl); and a tilt-wing multirotor powered by a hybrid system, named Texo (Hummingbird) for tactical urban and naval operations.

Hëwe (Bat)

Hewë Tailsitter SUAS
Close Range

Unipersonal, ultraportable platform, electric-power 3kg, 16km range ISR-LR for rapid deployment in highly movable operations.

Hëwe is a new back-pack portable tailsitter VTOL with a 1-hour endurance, day/night gimbal, laser ranging and tracking of moving targets from a handheld touchscreen GCS. Designed for to increase the situational awareness of small units in their immediate operational environment, and law enforcement tactical deployment.

Hewë for ISR  is undergoing β3 prototype technology demonstration, and ergonomy specialists are working on optimizing tablet ground control usability.

Watotöme (Owl)

Watotöme UAS
Medium Altitude, Long Endurance

Watotöme (formerly Köpari BP) is an 80kg MTOW, bullet protected derivative of Köpari, designed for persistent ISR operations, with similar rapid deployment, in kinetic scenarios.

Manufactured following strict NATO specifications, with fully automatic take-off and landing, the 100km datalink enables Watotöme to perform wide-area missions over coastal seas, patrolling borders, or deep into deserts with minimal logistic support.

β1 prototype testing will start in Dec. 2023.

Texo (Hummingbird)

Texo VTOL UAS
Medium Range VTOL

Texo is a tilt-wing, 8-rotor, hybrid-powered VTOL.

tHE

The first 50kg MTOW version for ISR was launched in Dec. 2022.

A Logistics vesion will be launched in Dec. 2023.
